Mark your calendar for Saturday, 16 June 2018. The day after the season opens on the Ottawa River, we will be hosting our annual Challunge. After getting chased off the river with crazy flooding last year, we’ll be back to our traditional early season Outing. Fish anywhere on the River starting as early as you wish and running until 5:00PM. Everyone will then gather at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 632 in Orleans (800 Taylor Creek Drive) for some great food and an awesome raffle table at 6:00 PM. Dinner will be served at 6:30PM sharp followed by the draw for the raffle and culminating with the presentation of the Swan Moving Trophy for the biggest catch and release of the day.
Tickets are $50 and the event is open to ALL MCI members and their guests. Please let us know you are coming by 1 June 2018 for meal planning purposes. If you are new to the River, we’ll be posting useful information in the Members Forum, along with further details about the prize table etc. as they develop.
